Basic Obedience

Basic Obedience Training includes a 3 hrs Orientation, Conventional CHoke & Leash, Heeling,. Sitting, Here Command, Fun social skills, Dog play, Kennel Training, Noise Control, Transfer to Electric Collar, Owner's Hands On Training withour dogs & the dog in for training
Price is $675 per month with a 2 month minimum.
Purchase of and electric collar is required.

Feild Training
 |
Feild training includes everything in Basic Obedience and Confirmation Handling/Training, plus Force Fetch, Steady to Wing & Shot, Hand delivering Birds, Basic Double Retrieves, Introduction to Decoys, Sit to the Gun Drill, Use of Ducks, Birds, Canvas, & plastic bumperstraining.
Price is $675 per month with a 3 month minimum.
Purchase of and electric collar is required.

Show Training

Confirmation Handling and Training Includes 5 Private Lessons Orientation to Handling 45 minutes, What is expected at a Show 45 minutes, Basic Handling Skills minutes, Patterns and ring procedure 45 minutes, How to put it all together Skills 45 minutes

Pointer Training

Pointer Training includes a 3 hour Orientation, Heeling, Flip Stick Field Training, Introduction to Pigeons & Quail, Electric Collar Conditioning, Wow breaking, Field Conditioning. Force Fetching for Pointers Retrieving

Puppy Training

Puppy Kindergarten Training includes lots of Play retrieves on both Land & Water, Introduction to social skills, Introduction to noices, Crate Training, Kennel Training and Basic Leash Training.

Assistant Training
 |
Wheel Chair Assisted Program includes a 3 hour Orientation, Complete Obedience Program, Wheel Chair Training, Force Fetch Training off Floor and Ground, All Field Training for Dogs used for hunting

Visitation Strictly by appointment only!
All dogs must have Vet record(current shot record), rabies tag, Bordetella Required (Kennel Cough) current medication (including heartworm meds), and negative heartworm is required. A tick medication is recommended.

Phil and Shirl have 48 years combined experience in many venues with books full of clients past and present that have had their dog or dogs trained by them. They have trained four dogs for one client, one after the other as dogs were added to the clients family. Many two dog families have had both dogs trained by them. Some have incorporated the confirmation handling training for Chesapeake Bay Retrievers or Nova Scotia Duck Tollers. Many clients are from the TAmpa Bay Area or surrounding area but have come from all over as well. Some have never met them but most have. Phil and Shirl do not feel they are successfull in their training endeavors unless the owners come to learn how to handle their dogs so they are comfortable with the dog by the time the dog graduates. They do not take an extra fee from the clients if there is a problem after the dog graduates if the client comes back by appointment to resolve the problem.
Chesagrove Kennels is 20 miles South East of Tampa and rests on 61 beautiful acres and 4 ponds. Hillsborourgh County Animal Services Breeder/Kennel Permit is Gold Seal Approved since it started 4 yrs. ago!
Gundogs are for preserving our future game stock for future families.
