Phil and Shirl Devore own and operate Chesagrove Kennels in Lithia, Florida. They are professional trainers with 48 years combined experience in obedience, field and show. They compete in many hunt tests, some field trials, tracking tests, many CGC tests, many obedience trials (in AKC, CKC, SKC, UKC, WKC) and every year in the Purina Dog Chow Incredible Dog Challenge "Diving Dog" and "Swim Race" since it began in 1999. Shirl is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for the American Kennel Club, competed in many National Specialties for The American Chesapeake Club, The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club (USA) and The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Club of Canada, and The Boykin Spaniel Society. They are very active in the community with many demonstration events such as, The Great American Teach-In at a local elementary school for 12 years and the Frank Sargeant/Tampa Tribune Outdoors Expo held at the Tampa State Fairgrounds for 11 years in a row, the Animal Planet "Aqua Launch" held at the Universal Studios in Orlando, Fl. and many obedience drills held at the different places in the area as well as holding many Fun Hunts on their 61 acres property.

Held offices as President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary and Publisher of several different Clubs.
